Want to get your message into the hands of Islanders? Printonyx can design, print and mail a brochure, postcard or a variety of other mailing pieces and distribute them to “Postal Patrons.” Or you can provide us a mailing list and we can personalize pieces and mail them “bulk rate.”

First class postage is currently $.55. “Postal Patron” is 9.1 to 17.9¢ each for San Juan Island and $13.6 to $22.4 for Orcas, Lopez, Eastsound, Olga, Deer Harbor, Decatur, Blakely, Waldron and Shaw Islands –- if you’re a non-profit organization with permission from the post office you can mail at the lower rates.

Want to put a personalized name and address on your mail using your customer/membership list? We can do that, too! We need your list as a CSV or Excel file and then can merge directly to the mailing piece. Bulk postage ranges from $.174 – $.184 for non-profit to $.292 – $.302 per piece for everyone else.

To qualify for bulk mail processing your piece must fit certain requirements with which we are very familiar and if you print with us, we’ll use our bulk mail permit for reduced postage.

The San Juan Islands are split up into postal routes – some routes combine home delivery and PO boxes, others are purely home delivery OR purely PO boxes. You must mail to all recipients on a route but do not have to mail to every route on the island(s). Click on the images to enlarge.

HOW MUCH IS MY MAILING GOING TO COST?

To use our bulk mail permit and have us process the mailing is 1.5¢ per piece with a $30 minimum. We provide this service only to those who are printing the mailing piece through us. Here are some sample printing prices:

Printing prices can be determined by adding up the quantity of the routes to which you would like to mail and then using the combinations above to print the appropriate number.

You don’t have to mail all the cards/brochures at one time; however there is a $30 minimum fee for us to prepare the mail paperwork and deliver to post office each time. You could then recognize the lower price per piece when ordering a larger quantity but space out the expense of the postage over a few months.
